The First Christian Church Chancel Choir is open to anyone in 9^th grade or older.  The Chancel Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary September thru May.  Chancel Choir provides special music on the second, fourth and fifth Sundays of the month, the Christmas Eve Service, Maundy Thursday, Easter Sunday, the annual Sermon in Music and other special services.

Each choir season the Chancel Choir prepares a variety of sacred repertoire for musical offerings, including traditional hymns, spirituals and contemporary hymns.  Musical selections for choir and solo instruments are also utilized.

The Chancel Choir provides special music for funerals and memorial services at First Christian Church upon request.  Elizabeth Haskins, director.
