Our Name
We call ourselves “Christian,” which means “of Christ,” and “Disciples of Christ,” which means “students and followers of Christ.” Both names are Biblical terms that give honor and loyalty to Jesus Christ. A slogan we have often repeated is, “We are Christians only, but not the only Christians.” When we say this, we are unpretentious and accepting of another’s religious experiences.
